Samuel Allen Mortimer Hi. My name is Samuel Mortimer and I am a fifth year architecture student at the University of Tennessee. The past four years which I have spent in the College of Architecture and Design have been the most interesting and informative of my life and as I go into the final year of my undergraduate education, I can honestly say I have left nothing on the table.
This fall I will be studying at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zürich, Switzerland. The experience has been a long time coming and as the time grows closer to my departure, I still do not know what to expect. As I have done for the past four years, I plan to keep my eyes and ears open- engaging myself whenever and wherever possible.
I have been interested in design since I was a kid and my time at Tennessee turned that interest into a passion. I believe in the power of design and am excited to see this realized in projects with direct environmental and social implications. |
